Saltwater pools have been around since the 1970s. They contain chlorine, but it’s a much smaller amount that is naturally produced. Instead of harsh chemicals, saltwater pools convert salt into chlorine. They are easier to maintain, do not have the same scent as chlorine pools, and offer more benefits than chlorine pools.
